The story begins...

“The Lazarus Principle” is the first novel in a trilogy by author Robert Dowell. This has been accepted for publication and will be released during the first quarter of 2008. Click here to read a synopsis of the story.

“Into the Abyss” is the second novel that author Robert Dowell is working on. As it is currently a work in progress very few details have been released. There is a third book currently planned for publication 2010.

Follow the dream...

Many people at some time in their life dream of becoming a writer - “everyone has a book in them” is a commonly accepted adage, but very few ever carry it out to fruition. Usually it is an idle thought that drifts through the back of the mind; however some people know from an early age that they were destined to be writers.

For the others it happens slowly and almost imperceptibly that this is the only path you can tread that will fulfil that yearning within your soul. When the realisation dawns that this is the way things are meant to be, life takes on new meaning. Work with it and everything starts to make sense, fight it and nothing will ever be the same again.

It can take twenty, thirty or forty years to come to the conclusion, that life does not have to be a series of challenges, but can be as simple as it looks. To paraphrase the late Douglas Adams “Life, Universe and Everything is as simple as the number 42.”
